how would ya'll rate the quality and power out put of the Elemental Designs NINe.5 compared to the eclipse 5 channel amp?

A basic flea market variety amp as compared to a B&O designed class D ICEpower amp, not even a fair comparison.

Are you saying that Elemental Designs is no good? I always heard that that ED is good stuff.

ED is manufactured to hit a price point first and foremost. That is what makes it the "in" line with many members on forums with limited funds to spend on car audio. It is far from a line like Eclipse that is manufactured for performance and tonal response. While there are those that can have ED perform to it's abilities, it is far from the calibre of Eclipse and other manufacturers.
