Yeah I know, there's a thread on this already but I thought this weekend's visit deserved another. The magical soothsayer known as Hamfist made a visit to my humble establishment Saturday. Several of my longterm car stereo sickys with no lives decided to visit. What ensued was as detailed and layered "car audio speak" as ever occured in my store. Some highlights: First, Davids car ( see his detailed description) is the most honest, flat, front staged car audio system I have ever heard. Second: I am now officially known as a " car stereo enabler". Third: when you see the name Jack Finks appear here, you know the end of civilization as we know it, has begun. It just goes to show you that true car stereo freaks do in fact, attract. It only can mean one thing, THE TCSS SUPER BBQ REUNION HAS NEW LIFE! Details to follow. Bob

SWEET!!!! Yes, indeed... Let's really get a REAL commitment from people this year! I'd really like to meet some of you! (Not all of you, just some... posted_image )

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I'm on the list for 1: Tequila (SIPPING tequila, NOT heater tequila, if you please.) 2: Various and sundry implementations of rotten grape juice. 3: Ribs!

Just like last year, I need to know HOW MANY! posted_image

Date, time, and grocery list please. I will do my best to get there and try to absorb the awsome amount of knowledge that will be flowing. My current audio system on my ride is stock suzuki exhaust so I think I qualify.posted_image

Between Bob and myself, we'll try to get a grocery list and a time/date nailed down. If it doesn't happen soon, (like before July) it'll happen WAY later... (like sometime in late September LOL) It's too damn hot on the coast in the summer... If I leave the heat of Bakersfield, I want to leave it for gentler climes!

Anyway, yes, all 12volters will be welcome! (But, as Bob sez... No Audiobahn or Xplôd systems. ROFL Kiddiiiing... Kinda!) Systems started, finished, ummm, NOT so finished... posted_image Whatever! It'll be a "run what you brung" type of affair!

Sarcomax, what do you ride? I just bought a Bandit 1250!

I don't do popcorn... But tequila, fine red wines, VERY good coffees... (Folgers need not apply...) you get the idea!

Welcome aboard, Jack! Just to keep you updated, here's what's now on the burners, at a full boil, for my car! Hopefully Bob'll be having my amps this week, and I might even be able to come pick them up for a start on the install! Was good meeting you the other day, and I look forward to your input regarding the finshed results in the new system!

Say, you need an amp, don't ya? posted_image

You wrote "tequila, fine red wines" and I read "tequila, fine red VINES."  I had this image of you sipping tequila using red licorice as a straw...
