My situation is as follows, i have a 99 dogde intrepid and im trying to install a kenwood cd receiver,once installed only the tuner is able to be heard.   If i go into cd mode no sound come out.   I tried two different receivers and both do the same thing.

When u connect the kenwood radio use the blue/white wire in the kenwood harness, don't use the blue wire that is the remote antenna wire, it only powers when listening to the radio. The Blue/White wire is th amp turn on wire ite powers whenever the radio is on regardless of wheter you are listening to radio or cd player. If u used a car specific harness make sure to use the BLUE/WHITE WIRE in the Kenwood. I am Assuming you car has an Infinity factory amp system.
