hi i have a jensen 300 watt amp and a rockford fosgate power150a amp, im currently runnig the jensen as it runs my 12" alpine way harder in bridged mode than the rockford does, i was wondering if anyone knows how to get more out of the rockford power 150a mono amp beause it must be better than the jensen?

also i would like to know if both amps have a pass thru can u just run the rca's from one amp to another, or do you have to run power and earth cables seperately for each amp, any help appreciated thanks

to hook up the second amp, i would recomend getting a power distribution block to divide the power to both amps; ground each amp seporatly to the body of the car.  pass thru is for sound only!  ur amps still need power, ground and remote.

djluscious,

If you are running your fosgate amp on the 12" sub at 4 ohm you are only getting 75 watt. However, if you have another 12" to add to your fostgate and bring it down to 2 ohm then you will get your full 150 watt. The other way of going about it is if your existing 12" sub is a dual voice coil then you could wire it up in parrallel to get it to 2 ohm, then you would get the 150 watt from you fosgate amp. Another thing that can help with your current sistuation is adding a capacitor.
