Ok, I have been reading on all kinds of different sites and this one and I keep seeing to fuse for wire size.

Im using 1/0 and have a 250 amp fuse I plan on using and just want to make sure the only risk im taking is blowing the fuse.

I just don't understand because isn't even a 5 amp fuse protecting the wire?  If more than 5 amps go through then the fuse blows and thats it.

Read the sticky...

It was discussed, explained, hashed, beaten, questioned, answered... Over and over here, but that's the best answer we've gotten so far.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

DAMN! Sorry about that.  I even read over that thread but missed the specific post where it answered my question.  On another subject, where can I buy 1/0 gauge ring connectors?
