i currently have 2 kicker l7 12'' 4ohm  wired paralell in a ported box now i have only the positive and the left negative used and then im running speaker wire from one sub to another as opposed to running wire from the amp to each sub individually, now will this result in a 1ohm load? does this sound right? will i mess something up? the amp is not bridgeable but 1ohm stable......the amp is a Hifonics mono 2006d

yes...as long as all the +'s are wired to each other then to the amps + and all the -'s are wired to each other and then to the amps - than it is still all in parallel
