First of all I have a 1999 Honda Civic.  I am putting a trunk lip mounted antenna on my car but there is only one problem: how do I get the wire inside my car?

The way I figured is that i would run the coax cable down the side 'water gutter' of the trunk, down behind the metal panel and through the trunk from under the tail light(right underneath it). From there, i will run it up the side to the front of the vehicle.

The picture below shows what I am wanting to do. The green is the coax cable running down the water gutter and the aarow is pointing to the part where i am thinknig of drilling.

I am wonering, is there a different way to do this? Someone said Hondas have a little crack in the back that you can slip stuff inside but i have no idea what they are talking about. The only thing i can think of is they are talking abou the picture below; it is a pciture of the very back corner where the corner of the window meets the corner of the trunk lid, but it doesnt run inside from what I see.

I cant just close the cable on the lid because it cant be compresse or crimped

Any help is greatly appreciated

Run the wire down the trunk hinge, and zip tie it in place. run it towards the front of the car, into the wheel well area. go down behind the rear seats, then fowards up the side of the vehicle, under sill panels.
