My car is a 1991 Honda Prelude Si. It currently has pioneer 6.5" 4way 280W max 50W RMS doors with pioneer 6.5" 3way 180W max 40W RMS rear deck. These were powered by a Visonik 800W max mystery RMS 2 channel amp, which is now powering a Pyle Blue Wave 10" sub in a RT Single Sealed box.

I'm set on upgrading the doors to a set of Polk MMC6500 components, The staging currently is horrible and hopefully these will put a fix to that. Then a pair of MB quart mid-woofers for the rear deck. I was thinking Diamond D6 600.4 Amp to power it all, although it somewhat worries me the RMS power on the amp is 75W when the polks I know are rated 125W RMS.

I'm a bass freak but the car is small and it doesn't require a lot of power to fill the car with bass. I was thinking possibly a 2x10 Diamond D3104 set up with a Diamond D3 400.2 amp. Or a single 12" Diamond D6124 with a Diamond D5 600.2 amp.

This is my first attempt to piece together a quality higher powered build so let me know what you guys think.

Ultimate goal is to have plenty of a clear but strong bass to keep the bass nuts at bay, and to have a well staged front end. The rear deck is VERY good about projecting ANY treble which Is why I though a mid-bass woofer would be better than a 2 or 3 way. The 3 way back there now blares over the higher power doors.
