okay well i have an 05 chrysler 300c with the boston acoustics sound system(6 cd stack,  wheel controlls, no nav).  We are putting in a eclipse double din and have tryed both metra wiring kits to no avail.  Both the nav harness and the non nav hrness get switched power but neither turn the factory amp on.  my question is,  has anyone bypassed into the factory amp and gotten this setup to work? if so how?  thanks in advance

George

George , use the PAC C2R-CHY module for what you want. This will also retain the RAP, give you reverse wire, park brake and also the VSS wire for the vehicle. Great peice and works on quite a few of the newer Chrysler & Jeep vehicles.

is this similar to metras XSVI-6502 or CHTO-01? as i have tryed both to no avail.  i get raps with both, and on the chto nav specific version i get vss and reverse but neither do amp turn on.  who sells bac in b.c.?  audio video unlimited,  visions?  thats all we have locally.  this is my bosses car and i really dont want to bypass the amp if hes going to get rid of it in afew years.  thanks Jeff.

Not sure if this is the same as the modules that you listed but I know this works well for the Boston systems. We have use several of these already where we retained the OEM speaker and amp but removed the HU from the vehicle with a indash video system. If you can't find it locally where you are please PM me and I'll source one out for you.

thats the 8 speaker boston system?  6 speakers,  one center channel and a sub?  today we jsut got sick of it and i bypassed the amp entirely for the front 6 x9's and rears.  whats your pricing like one these pieces?  maybe we can set something up?  out of all th calling around today no one deals pac audio.  WE used to carry them at my last shop but they ended up being more expensive than metra (180 retail) so we ended up just going all metra for most things.
