You need a different amp. In the diagram you are looking at the amp is bridged to run at 2 ohms, but the problem is your amp isn't rated for a bridged 2 ohm load, its rated to run at 4 ohms bridged. With those subs, I would find an amp that will do at least 600 rms @ 2 ohms, and will be easier to find a mono amp that does this. Most 2 channel amps that I have seen run at 4 ohms when you bridge them.

Your amp is not designed to be bridged into a 2-ohm load, it is stable at 4-ohms when bridged. Fortunately for you your Ref 1252 woofers have DVC 4-ohm voice coils, so you should connect them to the amp, bridged, like this:

So if I hook them up like the above the subs will get 140 watts each instead of 100 watts each?

Your amp is rated at 280 watts into 4-ohms, so sure. ------------- Support the12volt.com

oops, i thought those were dual 2 ohm subs based off the diagram he had put up.
