I'm currently running an Alpine CDA-9833 in my 05 Dodge Ram with an Alpine KCA-420i iPod adapter. Recently the iPod isn't being seen by the deck as being attached. Its charging but not available to play the MP3's. I haven't had the opportunity yet to check it out using another iPod but wonder if there is a reset on the Ai-Net units or in the deck?

pinched wire? is it run into your glove box or thru your ashtray? i'd pull it out and see if there are any severe kinks in the wire or nicks.

glove box. nothing has been touched under the dash in the past couple of months but I'll have a look. Never know what gets bumped around.
