ok so i have 17' rca's but i want to connect them for a distance much less than 17' more like 5-6' will this cause noise or problems? i have a hatch so my amps(3) are close buy or should i go and get some shorter ones? i think the extra length may cause problems but then again its memphis.. thanks!

The only problem, if it would be to you, would be a slight time delay compared to your other speakers in the car.

Go ahead and get some shorter ones, though. Try to get all of your RCA's in the same lenth, as long as the furthest amp from the HU needs. This way you're good to go.

'but then again its memphis..' I like that!
