whats up peeps? always glad to see the board is doing good..anyway got a few questions i'm running a muti battery system. i have a 230 amp ho alt. 4 guage to the front battery fused 18" from the battery from there 4 guage running to a hd relay to 2 batteries in the rear wired parallel. from that the two batteries in the rear are 0 guage to a pair of tsunami 40 frad hybred caps. one battery on each cap. and from the caps 4 guage to my amps. ok now the question is is it going to be ok for the 4 guage from the front to the back to keep the batteries charged and have enough power to run the system at full power. the batteries in the rear have all 0 guage ground and power. only linking the batteries together is 4 guage. is this going to be ok? tryin to get ready for nopi nationals in ATL.

I'd use 0 gauge to get the most outta your HO alt for the front to rear battery run

was thinking last night instead of 1 o guage or 1 4 guage i'm going to use 2 4 guage from the front to the back 1 for each battery in the rear. but thanks for the comment

two runs is not necessary at all...but if you want to than go for it.
Two 4 gauges isn't equal to one 0 gauge run though if thats what you are thinking

Two number 4AWG is the same MCM as a #1 (NOT 1/0) wire. It's what I use in my car, and it is larger than a #2.
------------- It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
