I have two yellowtop Orbitals (Exide) wired in parallel. No isolator, just 150amp AMG fuses (4g wiring) within 18" of each. I got a new DMM (Radioshack, $20) so I was going to check my system voltage with car off, car on no acc., and car on system at max. I first checked the rear one and it read right over 6volts. I thought maybe the DMM was defective. So I checked the amp terminals and front battery, both read 12.9 volts -car off.

Here's the thing, the fuse nearest the rr battery is blown so it's not charging. Is the battery bad now that it's at 6v, or can I just replace the fuse and go about my day?

Well, I straight wired the one in question to the front one and it now reads as much as the front one, by itsself. -Javin
