I was replacing an old pioneer unit with a new kenwood stereo in my 2004 Honda Civic Sedan. Right now I am completely stuck. I had the stereo working fine, but when I placed it back into its "cavity" I lost all power to it AND my power locks no longer work when the car is off(works while on or on accessery). To be sure it wasnt the new stereo, I placed the old Pioneer back into it and plugged in the wiring harnes, but it will not power up either. I checked all the fuses under the steering wheel, and nothings blown! Please help!

Yeah I found it last night. It was the "BACKUP" fuse located in the fusebox that was under the hood. Thanks again!

To me this is a major case of a install about to go wrong. How did you attach the pioneer radio to the factory wiring? Hopefully with a harness as that is what your post leads me to believe with the reinstall of the factory radio. The real question is how are the two harnesses connected? Chances are that this is the root problem and it will probably happen again (and perhaps take out a cd player or a circuit along with it).
