What is the most common method for running amplifier power through the firewall of this vehicle. I'm aware of the rubber grommet above the steering column but I'm concerned that a 4 guage wire will tear it excessively.

If you are very worried, just drill a new hole and install your own grommet.

That in itself creats another problem. There isn't any area accessible from the engine compartment, and I've dissected the dash only to find ductwork. Any help is appreciated.
