does anybody know if you can utilize the swc buttons that control the fan functions to control the factory a/c and fan? or are they lost forever when the factory deck was removed? any and help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

In the programming of the interface there are instructions for the fan and temp controls. I have yet to install one in a vehicle that had fan controls on wheel. I am sure they can answer all your questions on the website.
