Alright guys, I need some recommendations. I need some mid-bass speakers for my '95 Cavalier. I'll have them lowpassed at about 3500Hz via these https://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&PartNumber=255-026&DID=7 that I already have, and highpassed via the amp. I'll be powering them with my ClarionProAudioAPA2104 https://ampguts.realmofexcursion.com/Clarion_APA2104/ The stats via the Clarion website claim 1ohm stable loads, so I figure I'll get good SQ and response with stereo 4ohm. Any way I need 4ohm, about 50wrms, about 50-3500Hz, about 4-5 1/4" midbass drivers with good lowend performance for under $50 a pair. While flipping through PartsExpress I came up with these https://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=264-828&Cfid=2743657&CFTOKEN=72529719 I read great reviews on them via PartsExpress from people who used them for full range. Note: My '95 'Cavelair' fits 4x6's so I'll have to make adapter rings for them.

Anything? -4ohm, about 50wrms, about 50-3500Hz, about 4-5 1/4", good lowend performance, about $50 a pair.

I'm sure someone's got something lying around. LOL! Thanks - Javin

As I started reading your post, I immediately went to Tang-Band products. I was actually going to suggest the 7 inch bass/mid-bass woofer that they have, but it's about 100 a pair. One bad thing about a lot of the Tang-Bands (and not bad, really... just inconvenient) is their depth. Needs LOTS of space behind the panel, unfortunately...

That driver you picked out looks pretty nice, save the fact that you are about 5dB off by 65Hz to 70Hz or so... (and the 3dB notch at 1.5K - ewww NOT so nice.) You'll have to drive your sub pretty high to fill that in...

I'll do a little bit of looking around to see what I can see, and get back with ya!

Here's a 5" Peerless woofer that should work pretty well, on sale at Madisound for a few pennies.  Won't quite reach 50Hz but not much will at less than 6.5".  Here's a good sounding 5.5" Silver Flute that many designers were in love with for a while back around the turn of the century, and you can get a pair for $40..

Dave actually beat me to the punch, I was going to recommend you look into some Peerless stuff, also. (I was busy in my trunk... sorry!)

Here's the search I used over at Madisound, ANY of those would do quite well, but as DYohn says, very few are going to get to 50Hz with any authority, ESPECIALLY for less than 50 bux a pair...

Vifa makes some very respectable products for the car...

Cool. I think those last two links may suit me well (they do include what you recommended DYohnposted_image), or at least the sites 'cause i've never heard of them.

I won't actually install the amp until this weekend, and it'll take me awhile to convince the g/f to let me spend a *whopping* 50 bucks, but I just wanted to get some ideas. I plan on spending wisely as my quest for SQ has been growing much recently. I'm surely up for more options as I plan on getting something decent to last me for years.
