i have a custom fiberglass enclosure with 2 inverted subwoofers and the box is not seperated in the middle into 2 different compartments and i was wondering if it needed to be for better sound....... also the system is sealed box in the trunk and it seams to be pretty loud with trunk closed but when i open the trunk it seems as though the sub start just vibrating and not even really creating any bass maybe the no seperator could help this .....any ideas......thanks

doesn't really matter unless you blow one sub then the other sub will be seeing a box twice the original size.

The bass gets quieter when you open the trunk cuz then the it is in an open air environment...This is normal...its louder inside when the trunk is closed because of transfer fuction
