A friend of mine has 2 Stinger 800series batteries along with a standard 630cca lead acid.
I figured he should isolate the 2 Stinger's and using either/or (630cca lead acid or 2 Stinger800's)
How should he go about this?

I think he's tried to run just the Stinger800's (x 2) in parallel to his system before and it didn't get as loud as all 3 batt's hooked up (standard 75series770cca + 2 Stinger800's). I don't think the Stingers were charged fully, though.
(1) Is it okay to have a 650cca battey in parallel with 2 Stinger800's or should he use the Stingers to power only the sub amp (CrossfireCFA390M) and the front battery to power the rest of the system plus the car -charging each (770cca or 2 Stinger800's) separately so they charge fully?
(2) I don't know if the Stingers were within 6months of each other, or even if they are good. How can I test them to see if they're even worth using with each other?

i would say go take those batteries to an auto parts store and have them load tested...then charge them up and if you really wanna wire them up with the existing battery then use
this between the batteries to isolate them when the car is off so they don't kill each other
So, have them in parallel when the car is running and/or the system is on, and disconnect the 2 Stingers from the 770cca lead-acid when the car is off and the system is not playing?
Thanks.
