A friend has an 07 Fit, and I sold her boyfriend my sub and amp as a gift to her for her birthday.
I know power/ground is a non issue, and the amp has high level inputs, but what would I do for the remote? The car has a fixed antenna and I was thinking of tapping into the ignition harness but I know the car is CAN Bus. Any thoughts? I just need info on A) where to get power for the remote wire, and B) since the speakers are in the door, what would the best place to get my signal wires from?

The easiest is behind the radio.... As for your turn on, there are several Hi 2 Lo's made that when an audio signal is present, an output is generated. Look for one of these.
