I installed an Avic D3 but now my airbag light flashes...any ideas? I have a scan tool but it doesn't pull air bag codes. I did remove the pass seat to make putting the satellite and bluetooth modules easier and I think the car has a seat sensor to disable the pass airbag if a child is in the seat but I reconnected everything... The car is a 2005 Nissan 350Z Any help will be greatly appreciated. I don't want to take it to Nissan just yet, they are likely to blame it on my recent radio install and void my warranty.

If you would have disconnected your battery before you did the job you would have been alright.  The dealership will charge you 100 dollars to get the light off.  They will not void your warranty.   I have seen procedures on the internet to fix it yourself.   I will look and repost in a minute.

Hey, thanks for that link. I did disconnect the battery but at various stages, I reconnected to move the drivers seat and to test radio functions, the vss and dvd playback with the park brake mod. I got it fixed with your link...thanks again.
