I'm looking mainly at either going with my dealer discount on a JBL PX300.4 or a paying full price for a JL Audio 450/4 or 450/4v2 to run my mids and highs. Obviously the JL amp costs a lot more but would it be worth shelling out the extra cash for it or saving the money and going with the JBL?

IMO, yes... The JL will sound WAY better on highs than the JBL.

no JBL is made by harmon kardon. and yes JBL and Infinity are in the same family
