I have a 10" kicker l5 i have a 300w kicker amp powering the sub. I'm using stringer 4 guage amp kit. My problem is when is song with bass my sub kicks out sometimes for a few seconds to a couple mins. I checked my wiring and i check my ground. I have no idea what the problem could be i know i'm not overpowring the sub any help would be well appreciated.

check the ohm load sounds like either ohm load is to low or the amp is going into thermal protect. If its a dual coil try seriesing it and playing it. Its less power, but it won't cut off. hope this helps.
