what do you think of this setup?

I've been looking around for some time now, and I think i've settled. This is what I am planning on getting...

Alpine CDE-9881 Head Unit
Infinity Ref. 1600a Amp | 600w RMS x 1 at 2 ohms
2 12" Infinity Ref. 1250w | 300w RMS each

Please feel free to give any oppinions...

I'll show you some love since no one else has. Are you keeping everything else stock except for the HU and subs? Have you listened to those subs yet? That amp and sub pair looks like a good match from what I can tell. Might as well get some Infinty's coaxial or components to go with the rest of what you are getting. Maybe even an amp to push them. The aftermarket speakers would sound better than whatever is in there now since they will be better quality materials and more sensitive. Then you could add an amp later. Just keep reading this forum and you'll get all the help you need.

Looks like a good system to start...I've heard those subs before..I like em...for what you pay you get good output and good sound quality.
