I have a 2007 Toyota Highlander with a factory AM/FM Single CD In Dash (JBL no Navigation)

I was told by a friend in the business that I can get Satellite radio installed without using an FM Modulator

But the only drawback would be since my factory deck is not satellite ready, I would not have the display tell me which station I was listening to.

Anyone know this to be true?  If so, what install parts/adapters are needed?

Thanks

There are several aux in pieces made for that vehicle. SoundGate and USA Spec probably make an iPod/ Aux in device that is compatible with your vehicle. However, SoundGate has a satellite radio (xm or Sirius) piece that interfaces with your facotry radio, at least the 06's and below.

USA Spec definately has the iPod/Aux in so you can purchase a Sirius Starbase for example and mount the control module on the dash and use the audio out form the starbase to your iPod/aux in unit.

SoundGate says they make a piece for your vehicle, but it states you must have the Sat button on the radio, so I would contact SoundGate directly.
