I’m a MB Quart man but have never had an opportunity to hear any of there speakers. But I can say having owned there amps that the sq is amazing. With a name like Mc Intosh im sure they will be top quality and have excellent SQ. If you call Mc Intosh they will set you up with a dealer who will have them on a sound board so you can hear them. If you do get the opportunity to own or hear them please post your opinion.

I sure will,in fact i'm also an Mb Quart man for a good 10 years now.Just last month i did purchase a set of Mb Quart "Q" series for my front stage and i plan on using the Mc Intosh'es in the rear (midranges and tweeters).I know their amps are good but don't know enough about their speakers.I will run mine of 4 Nakamichi amps (including the Mb Quart "Q"s),the lows are taken care of an 12" a/d/s/rs.2 subwoofer in a sealed enclosure.

If youre not stuck on the Macintosh, also listen to Focal or Image Dynamics. I hear the ID csx series are coming off backorder.
