i just bought a w3 its new but its a couple years old no spec sheet. i went on jl's website and looked at discountinued subs.it has a pic of new subs with the inverted dust caps not the one i got does any one know what size sealed box it takes

JL Audio's website has a link for Discontinued Subwoofers 4 lines below the link for the W3 subs you clicked on

I'd go with something a hair larger than the 1cft that is recommended. Maybe 1.2cft or so. JL subs like big boxes.
