I just purchased a brand new sealed 1/2 farad lightning audio capacitor off of the internet. When I opened it had two sets of the terminal screws but was missing the wires/card needed to charge the cap. Does anyone know of another way to charge the cap or if a local stereo shop would have something like this available for purchase? Thank you.

A real OLD FASHIONED test light, you know the old ones with an actual light bulb in it, will work fine. Connect the negative connection of the capacitor to the negative terminal of your battery. Connect the clip of the test light to the positive terminal of the battery. Then touch the probe of the light to the positive terminal of the capacitor. The light bulb will be bright at first then it will begin to dim. Leave it connected for an additional minute after the bulb goes out. At this point it will be charged enough for you to connect directly to the battery wire.
