Hi,

We are putting a DVD single din unit into a BMW 325XI 2004. It has the Harmon Kardon system .

Can we use the Metra 70-9003 and just use the blue wire on the harness to power up the stock amp or does it need to be bypassed like a BOse?

Use the regular harness for this vehicle. Power up the amplifier with the remote turn on lead and you will most likely need to use an amplified antenna on this vehicle as well.
