AlpineCDA-9830. When I use my sub-level control, is it boosting the bass at a certain freq or just increasing the voltage altogether?
The thing is, I don't want to use it if it's going to only boost a certain freq. I want all bass output to be even [or whatever;) ].

A sub-level control is a volume control for all frequencies below the subwoofer crossover.

Sa-weet! That's exactly what I wanted to hear. Thanks!

Sorry, right when I posted that I realized; I'm not using my HU's internal h or l/p's, but it still gives it a boost. Should I run my sub outputs (full-range at the time, still gives a boost) on my high-range amp and see if the boost only increases bass or all freq's? -I'll do and see what it does. I guess I should've done that from the start. -Thanks, though!

Alright, it's a full-range voltage boost.
Thanks for wasting your time
