I've been reading post on here and haven't seen any with installing just the headunit with the factory amp. I just spent 6 hrs ripping apart my friends tahoe trying to find out how to connect the rca's to the amp. We have everything else hooked up all thats left is the speaker wire coming out of the aftermarket deck harness and Rca's coming from the other end of the wireing harness i guess i really needs some help. I'm installing the Kenwood DDX-7017, cant figure out how to wire the Rca's or what they need to be wire to or if i need to wire the speaker wire from the head unit to the Rca's. I'm lost in this area please help confussed on what to do next and how to do it.

The rca's on the harness plug into the aftermarket decks front and rear pre outs. This vehicle should be a pretty straight forward install.

we plugged them in and go no sound. is there something else. do i have to run a remote turn on wire for the bose amp. or am i getting  to deep. the Rca's form the direction say they need "2-4 volt Rca-level input reccomended". what does this mean. here is the site instruction w/bose https://peripheralelectronics.com/periph_products/Instructions/GMCO%20ver%202.pdf

Yes there is a remote turn on, it should be on the blue/white on the harness.

so what u are saying is that in order for all this to work i have to connect the RCA's to the front and rear pre outs and run the remote turn on wire to the amp. what wire would i run it to on the amp. pealse confirm

You should not need to run any thing to the actual amp. Everything should be done on the harness.  There should be a remote turn on on the gmco harness and that needs to be connected to the blue./white off of the aftermarket deck.  If there is not one one the gmco then  the factory amp turn on wire is the pink wire on the factory radio plug. (the plug that the gmco should already be plugged into). You could wire the remote from the deck right to that wire .
