Hey guys well I have always wondered and frankly very curious. all these wires comin and going from my trunk to my front head unit... how do you guys keep track of all of the different wires? Different colors? You figure I have 2 amps, 2 coolin fans, backup camera, reverse signal wire, rca's...etc. all these go from the back to the front and frankly it is just getting too confusing, everytime i want to change something I cant recall what is what... so anyone have a good idea of keeping track of this stuff? Thank you

For temporary labeling, write the function of the wire on a piece of masking tape and fold it over the wire. For something more permanent and cleaner looking, the peel and stick wire labelswork well. They can be found at any electrical supply store. Label each wire or cable with the same number at both ends and keep track of the function. Make a list of all the wire numbers and functions and you can find exactly what you want every time. Another option is to use white heat shrink tubing and write on the   label with a permanent marker.

for rcas i like to make notches on em with sharpie, I-front II-rear III-sub

Since i am running my own wiring from each speaker and not the factory speakers it also makes it a bit easier. Just make a system you can remember, or just use the tape labeling method.
