Firstly just want to say hello to everyone and thanks for creating a awesome site, lots of good information. Seeing how this is my first post i'll start with a simple question.I have a 1990 mitsubishi eclipse and recently relocated the battery to the hatch using a odyssey 925 battery and 0g wire.Originally there was3 fuses on the battery for the radiator fan, ignition, mpi.I put a 4 position distribution block in the engine bay for these fuses. On to the question right now i have a anl inline fuse holder on the power wire about 18" away from the battery, what i want to know is could i replace that inline fuse with another fused 4 position distribution block? Reason is id like to try minimize connection points, figured i could use one distribution block for main power wire, amps, fuel pump connections etc.Just to add i dont have a system in the car just one amp to power some polks up front, but i do plan on putting a 10 in the back soon.
It's like "huh?" Rewrite the question, because it sounds like you want to redesign the original wiring in that car. Wiring is left as it is, typically. When you add more load to the car you have to augment the power supply...that's what we deal with when we add a system.
