It was a beast of an amp that Crown made shortly after Harman International bought them out (Harman owns JBL and Infinity as well as a pile of other companies, Lexicon, DBX, etc.). It was insanely expensive and was only sold for maybe a year around 1998.
As I recall, it was a 10kW amp, based heavily on the Crown K series. It weighed in around 80lbs (?) and sold for something like $9k. They're still alive and well in SPL competitions, but are pretty much unobtanium for normal folks these days.

You can find them on ebay from time to time. Seams like $3 K is the going rate. Gary Biggs has one in the Regal powering subs. Jbl offers a smaller version, the A3000Gti.
Yes, it was designed with Crown. Not sure how much of it's based on the K-series. It is 30" x 23" x 6.6" and weighs in around 150lbs. It takes 1/0 AWG in and a 500 amp fuse is recommend. Power ratings are CAE-2006 compliant. 8100 Watts bridged into a 4 ohm load. This is a true monster amp. Haven't heard anything bad about it, except the 150 Lbs.

The amp they used in the 'amp test' video was the 6000 gti's little brother. I've done similar demos with Crown pro amps before. Circular saws are a pretty easy load, assuming you amp can do 120V/15A  ------------- This is not a sig. This is a duck. Quack.

thats crazy thats a truely powerful amp. if i got ahold of one on those i think that amp would fry my caddies electrical system. lol

Most likely. As I recall it had either a 1/0 or 4/0 power socket. I say socket, because connector is just such a wimpy word when talking about an amp that weighs more than a lot of members here.

yeah...prolly an easy load for the crown amps...I doubt many "normal" amps can do that
