I've got a BostonAcoustics G51044 (dual 4) w/ a GTR (10"). Right now i've got them in a 1.8cu foot sealed enclosure and it goes pretty low -with only 250Wrms.

Soonly i'll be powering the sub with 2 2channels, one bridged to each coil (250Wrms CEA to each coil). I'm worried about overexcursion b/c of the huge box (4 times what BA recommends). BostonAcoustics recommends a tiny .5cu foot box for the G510 and GTR. I'll have all tuning weights I can fit in the GTR to keep it 'tuned' low (I'm working on getting some more weights from BA).

Should I build a .5cu foot box or what? What do you recommend? I like it lowww. Thanks, jmelton86.

Trying to get it out in the open again.

I will have the sub inverted, so I was going to do a box 23x15x5" (3/4" MDF) = .58789 feet to the 3rd. Boston recommends .50922 feet to the 3rd so I figure with a bit more airspace by a slightly larger box minus the driver displacement it'll tune it down a little without having to worry about overexcursion [why i'm waiting (to hear from you guys:P) to push more power to it].
