Installed this head unit couple weeks ago, no issues since. Went to leave tonight, no power. Checked all fuses. All wiring looks good. The fuse on the wiring harness is intact...wth??

Were you having trouble with the display going on and off?

Before i get any Generic answers on this, Ground, Switched, Power are all properly working, ALL fuses I am aware of are in tact, the one on the 'Battery' Wire-wireharness, the radio fuse is in tact. The unit has NO power. I am pretty good with electronics but i dont want to rip this open if i dont have to.

This head unit worked fine a few hours before on a trip i went for. Went to go for a trip again and bam nothing. Need some ideas quick, thanks.

make sure the constant, switch 12v,and Ground is properly connected. First things first, check for a good ground. A simple bad connection will De-power the unit. IF YOU HAVE TO disconnect the radio and take it to your engine bay. Connect the power/switch together and stick the two pos. to the pos. battery terminal and the ground to the ground terminal. make sure the radio is working under direct connection. it does take a little time but a sure way to figure out the power problem. another thing that im pretty sure you have already done is test the lines with a test light.

.....I thought i made it clear that it is not a problem with the power to the unit. At any rate I ran out and bought a CDA-9885, popped it in, no issues. I still want to fix this head unit for a friend to use.
