I am getting ready to invest alot of money in my first mid/pro system..

I have come to two choices please list your opinions on which to go with:

First set up..

2x kicker  15" kicker L7's dual 4 or 2ohm and a kicker zx2500.1 amp ....

second setup.

2x 15" t9500 super woofer's dual 4 ohm and a thunder elite class d monoblock (2200W x1 @ 2 ohms, 3750W x 1 @ 1 ohm, 7500 Watt peak)

which set up will hit harder with more quality sound?

OK So Im new at this work with me

haha...its funny how MTX labels a subwoofer a "super woofer" haha

Well it depends on what you are after...and by those choices it seems that you are after some loud bass.

I would look that what type of enclosure would work best then choose subwoofers to fit.

I'd go with the L7's.

Just for future refrence, make the tilte of your post somthing to do with the post. I opened it not knowing what to expect. For instance whats wrong with "which system will hit harder"

Both subs have great potential...There is a guy over on ROE who had a 12 inch 9500 in a rear loaded horn enclosure and was hitting like above 145dbs on the TL in a trunk car

I'm most amused by this:

PUH-leeze... One or the other. 99.9% of systems CAN'T do doth.

BUT, if you REALLY want to attempt to come close to doing both, please forget the Kicker stuff altogether. Here's your answer. These things'll beat the HELL out of a Kicker or MTX woofer!

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Listen to haemphyst. I got a TC-3000 which just the older version of the Audiopulse. These subs are the best sounding subs i have ever heard with the exception of the w7. But there close as far as sq.

You can't BUY the TCs from them directly anymore. TCSounds is now a distributorship, you'll have to call them to get information about a dealer close to you.

On the bright side of that, AudioPulse drivers are now covered by a lifetime warranty! Clicky! So, that's nice!

Dash.  A-pillar.  Doors.  Kick panels.  Wherever they need to be.

I am amused by the title of this thread.  What does the poster mean by a "mid pro" system?

"I am getting ready to invest alot of money"
guess this statement is subject to the individual. My wife never sees the bills.

I think it means that your system in comparison is a "mid pro quo".................right?  posted_image

Steven:  That was very good.  Actually I'd classify my current setup as mid-consumer, not much pro quo in this setup.  posted_image  Alpine DVA-9860, McIntosh MCC504, Eclipse SC8362, old school Kenwood subwoofer amp driving dual Tang Band subs in rear doors.  Sounds good enough for me though.
