I have two 12 type rs want to make a slot port design and was wondering if power acoustik amps are any good? and dimentions on the port in a 1.8 cubic ft box per chamber.

No. Avoid them like the plague. Might as well ask if Audiobomb is any good. Same league.

I dont have any problems with power acoustik amps. I have a SL2000D pushing two Kicker CVX 12's, and they are getting plenty of power.

what size should the slot port be in a 1.8 cf box for 2 type rs?

You said 1.8 cu ft per chamber at first, and then you said a 1.8 cu ft box.  What is the box net airspace for these two subs?

The box is 1.87 per chamber

  i had a power acoustik plasma 1920 on a alpine 15'' type r 2 ohm wired at 4  in ported 3.00 cubit feet box, its was very loud. I couldn't turn my radio past 20. So there pretty good.

If you know how big the box is supposed to be, you should know how big the port should be. OR, where did you get the number 1.87?

How much power do your type R woofers handle?
