i am using 2 dvc woofer at 4 ohms but i dont see any heart pumping action

the woofer is basicly quite strong but i dont feel as much bass for the amount i paid

do you think my setup is wrong??or not enough power from the car??

first off your only getting half the power you paid for.

check your tuning with your gain and freq...you might just be getting what you paid for.

Why do you say that? That amp is 1kW into 2 or 4 ohms. Two, 4 ohm DVC woofers will get him a 4 ohm load if he's wired it correctly. It's not shutting off, so he DOESN'T have them all wired in parallel... Even if they were all wired in series, for 8 ohms, that amp still makes WAY more than 600 watts (required to power the woofers to full capacity).

My guess is that he has one of the woofers wired backwards. Reverse the input leads on ONE of the woofers, and see if that helps.

my subwoofer is wired exactly right on the diagram below

do you think wiring the + and - will affect?

my amp + output and i go for - and - i go for +?

i can feel if the subwoofer is wired wrongly,as the bass will sound different

What kind of box are these subs in? I would reccomend not tuning the amp to the "max", but rather tune it correctly.

The + and - make all the difference in the world. I would triple check your wiring, and if it looks good, I would wire up only one sub and see if it plays louder. if it does, then I would wire up the other sub again by the diagram, and if it still plays bad, I would take it to a shop.

That amp it won't matter. 1kW into both loads.

NP. I just happen to have that amplifier, and I've put it through a few paces. posted_image

what does this mean??

So you turned the gain all the way up and the bass boost all the way up so its "louder"

And who built this "custom ported enclosure"

could have been custom as in just built but not custom for your setup

If the hood is pumping and not your heart maybe you need to try putting the subs in the trunk. Which way do you have the port facing on the box? ie. front, rear, down, up, sideways. Try moving your box around and see if you get any better sound after you check the wiring of the subs. Try unplugging one side of your rca's at the amp at a time and make sure getting input from both sides.
