hey, i picked up some MTX thunder subs in the custom thunder enclosure for $250. They are 10" and the box is ported. I also have an mtx 400/1 mono amp rated for 1200 watts max power. the subs are 1800 watts max power. Does anyone think this was worth $250? What DB could i hit?

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

max power/peak power means nothing in the real world...they are made up figures that "look and sound good" but mean nothing.
