My buddy wanted to add an amp for a sub to his factory set up. He has the Bose system. What wire color code and where would you access low output? From radio harness or input of amp. Where is the factory amp in this car under passenger seat like some other Mazda's?

If you can make ANY sence of this, you deserve an award.  This is 2006, thats the latest year I have at my disposal.

Line level audio outputs from the audio unit to the amplifier are as follows: Violet at pin 1A (passing thru navigation unit behind right side of dash, if equipped) goes to amplifier pin 1T; light green at pin 1C (passing thru navigation unit, if equipped) goes to amplifier pin 1R; red at 1D goes to 1P; green at 1F goes to 1N; blue/brown at 1S goes to 1L; yellow/blue at 1U goes to 1J; YELLOW /GREEN at 1V goes to 1H: and WHITE/ blue at 1X goes to 1F.

that would be 4 speaker in and out of amp. I did see that the WHITE/ blue would also be same pin 1F same as green. Is that what you meant to write?
