Alright I painted my dash and all was well until I put it back in. Then I decided to hook my cd player up for the heck of it, set it down by the shifter to grab something and it slid into the metal frame under the dash and sparked.
Now it doesn't work. So I did what everyone said... checked and changed fuses (none of them were blown). Still nothing. I used one of those wire light testers and the Yellow wire which is the memory on my car (1995 Honda Civic) lit up. The Red didn't do anything. So someone said if the red didn't lite up then there has to be a blown fuse somewhere. This is driving me insane! Are there fuses other than the box under the dash I don't know about that can cause it not to work? Or did I mess a wire up putting the dash back in? Or any other suggestions for a noob would be helpful. Right now I have the dash back off again, checked the wires going to the fuse box and they are firmly secured, nothing looks pinched. Sucks!
Yes I turned the key, started the car. Not getting power to that red wire for some reason. Hope I didn't fry the wire.
Sometimes the interior lights fuse will affect the radio.
Check all fuses?

That's what I heard so I decided to change all the fuses in the box even though none of them were blown and the one on the cd player. I mean I know the cd player sparked, I grabbed it real quick. It should of blown a fuse. There's no reason why the power wire should have no power. The red wire is the ignition wire correct? If I fried that i give up. There's a million wires going everywhere and this wire branches off to other things. Which everything seems to work when I turn the key forward although I dont have my cig lighter in yet which is supposed to be on the same line correct? Thanks
Is there anything else electrical in the vehicle not working? If not, then just get your power off the accessory wire in the ignition harness. Just be sure to fuse it to protect against future sparks.

Try checking your fuse's under the hood, you should find a black fuse box in there too that looks like a big version of the one under your dash.
