i currently own a 2001 lexus is300 that was involved in a front passenger collision. i get power to the radio and it gives me no error ...i can even change station and do everything as if there was no problem with it. however i get no sound through the speakers. i was wondering if anyone had any advice... fuse? amp? wiring?

Those are amplified systems. I don't know where the amp is, but check ALL of the fuses in the car, even in the underhood block. I bet you find a bad one. If not, then I'd say the amp was damaged somehow.
------------- It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I think the amplifier is behind the glove box.
