Alright guys, I have tried the search and been doing some research but it is overwhelming!  So I decided to start a thread, so forgive me if you posted this a million times.

I need a 1ohm stable amp that will put out around 1000W RMS.  It will be feeding 2, 4Ohm DVC Type R 12's in a sealed 2cf box. (wired to 1 ohm of course)

I had a Hifonics bx1500d for a year or so then it took a dump on me.  So I need new blood.  I need to keep it under 300 bones if possible.  Been looking at everything from MA audio, Directed, Orion, and all of those types.  I know I will not get some amazing amp for 300 but it is what I have to work with.  So give it to me audio guru's, what are my options.  Even a good amp with less watts is okay, just don't want to starve my subs.

Thanks in advance!

I have an Elemental Designs Nine.1 amplifier and love it...lots of clean power.

1200 watts at 1 ohm...plenty for two Type Rs.

There are a lot of people that hate eD though...they've come a long way though...a lot better service than in the past...5 year warranty from defects

I know its a little late now, but I have had tremendous success with Memphis' 1100D. Insane power, relatively inexpensive and very small footprint (good for vehicles who dont have a lot of room).
