i'm looking at buying a used amp, i can get either an audison lrx 1.400, or a jl 500/1 for roughly the same price. i am planning on hooking one of them up to my alpine 10" type x, so even though the audison is stable and powerful at 1 ohm, i will only be using it at 2 ohms. for 2 ohms the audison is rated for 650 watt rms, and the jl is 500. which amp would give the best sq and spl or what are the pros and cons of each amp.

I've had the JL 500/1 and loved it. I wish I still had it. Plenty of clean power for that Type X

the JL is a awesom amp and great for SQ. I dont have any experience withaudison so I cant say.
