For whatever reason when I start my car in the morning the sub will come on fine(after radio turn on). However after the car has been running for a bit the sub will cut out if the volume is left at 10 or under. If I turn up the music to 11+ the sub will come on and play with no problems. I've checked the connections at the amp and they all seem nice and tight. Going over bumps in the road don't seem to have much of an effect. However the occasional torque inertia of the car will cause it to come back on or off.(acceclerating or braking). The problem doesn't usually occur at 11+ volume levels. I've also checked the wiring to the sub to make sure it was tight. Everything looked good.

Any ideas? Damaged amp maybe :(?

Pioneer DVH-P5000MP
Pioneer DEQ-7000P- Wired to deck via Fiber optic line.
KickerZr240
Kicker XS100
Kicker 6.2s in front and rear(rears currently disconnected)
Kicker L5 15D2
Stinger wiring throughout car HPM Platinum Series. All wiring including RCA's.
0 gauge from Yellow top optima to a Dblock in trunk.
0 gauge ground from grounding foot to a Dblock in trunk.

Most of the time I have had that problem, the sub is on it's last legs. Meter the sub to see what resistence you are getting when the sub is in a non playing state. If you get zero, your sub is bad.

Ok. I checked the sub. It came up with 1.3-1.5 ohms. Is the number supposed to fluctuate like that or stay steady?

on a dual two ohm it can flucuate like that as long as it isnt 0 or dome high off the wall number the sub should be ok. The amp might be your problem. If you have a speaker tester you can test it to make sure the sub is not the problem if you dont have one any stereo shop should.
