I cant get any sound out of the speakers after i bought a new radio on E-bay (this radio works, i have tried it with external speakers) . Im not sure if there was any sound before since the orginal radio was broken when i bought the car. Its a 2001 Chrysler Town Country Limited. With Infinity system.

Questions

1. Where is my amplifier located? I have found black boxes on the front door speakers. Are those the amps or is it loacated some where else?

2. Is there any other fuses to the amplifyer exept the box in the engine compartment (IOD fuse)?

3. The wiring. Is it correctly connected? See pic. Is there any wire missing?

4. Any sugesstions how i get this doodie to work? What shall i do? It´s a pitty to change the whole system right?

5. This stereo turn on nice, the radio scans, the cd plays, but is there any code i have to enter to get the sound? There is no "enter code" sign when its turnd on.

I can't speak for your year of vehicle, but the Infinity factory amp in my 05 Grand Caravan was located on the passenger rear quarter panel. If you remove the passenger rear speaker, then reach inside the hole, my amp was located to the right of the hole (looking at the hole). I had to remove the plastic moldings (entire side) to expose all the rear a/c parts and remove 2 bolts (one top left hole and one bottom right hole under a/c ductwork/freon lines).

Unsure how that will help you figure out why your deck doesn't work. Your wiring looks fine. If you don't have dvd, steering wheel controls or bluetooth to worry about, you should just pick up an aftermarket deck.

Wish my options were that simple.

Thats pretty cool. What I do on those is run a remote wire from the amp turn on on the radio and run it under the hood to the out put on the amp relay.
