I have just bought the panasonic CQ-DF602. It has RCA audio inputs and outputs just like a tv. It has a RCA output called subwoofer. Is it possible to connect a 10" subwoofer directly to the deck without an amp? Will it damage anything? Will break the subwoofer or the deck? I do not know how to set it up but here goes nothing. If I get a cable that on one end its a RED RCA plug and the other end a wire can I connect it to the subwoofer? And also do it with the White also... Will it work?

Thank You

The rca output marked subwoofer is the low level signal that you must feed a amp for amplification. This is of course for the sub amp in your system. You will need to buy a amp to power your subs. Brian
