Theoretical setup consists of 2 Kicker Comp VR 12" DVC 4 ohm subs each in its own ported box. What would be the benefits to running each sub on its own JBL 300 watt rms mono amp at a 2 ohm load vs. trying to run both subs off just 1 amp? Does running 2 subs off 1 amp cut the output in half resulting in poorer performance? Is it more efficient to use 2 amps? Will it be louder?

Thanks in advance for help with this. My thinking is cloudy when it comes to this.
